Former Securities Commission (SC) director During his tenure with the SC, Siow held several positions including that of the director of issues & investment division, the director of the market supervision division as well as the executive director in the office of the SC Chairman. Siow served in the SC for 13 years, retiring in Dec 2006. Azhar Mohamad, also formerly form the SC. His last position in the SC was head of Securities Issues Department.
